This cutting tool can cut thin brass wires and is suitable for detailed metal wire work. The cutting edge pinches the wire from above and below, so it can be cut flat with little deformation of the cross section. The cutting edge is made of high carbon steel (SK5). A spring is set in the grip, which, together with the lightweight body, supports smooth cutting work.
